Clothing is now made from many different kinds of materials, and the type of material used to make a piece of clothing is chosen to best suit its purpose for weather conditions, safety hazards, or to individualize a individ uals style and also for the basic requirements of comfort and convenience for the particular task it will be needed for to carry out. e.g. The majority of summer clothing is made from cotton, cotton breathes easier then other materials and therefore is more comfortable to wear in hot weather.
-Not all forms of clothing are made to be worn, this clothing is named a "accessory" which can be just to state a fashion, show some form of individualism, or to help in a task to be carried out. e.g. A handbag can be a fashion statement, but can also be used as a helpful tool to carry goods, also any form of accessory used to help make your day easier and that benefits your well being can be classed as a form of clothing.
